Calculator inputs
Calculations run on your device. We do not send your swatch dimensions, shrinkage rates or planned fabric lengths to a server or analytics service. We do not place them in a page address or save a calculation history. A page refresh resets the example values.
Printing and downloading a CSV happen when you choose those actions. You control where the resulting record is saved or printed.
Optional Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to send page views and a small set of interaction events: starting or completing a calculation, printing and exporting. Events identify the tool, not your measurements. Turning analytics off leaves the tool fully usable.
In Europe, and wherever we cannot tell where you are, the site asks before loading Google Analytics, and nothing from Google loads unless you allow it. Elsewhere it runs unless you turn it off. We tell where you are from the country Cloudflare reports for your connection, which your browser keeps only in this tab.
Google processes technical information such as browser details and network information to provide analytics. Our code sends the page origin and path without query strings or fragments, and limits the referrer to its origin. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in the site configuration. We do not send your email address or fabric notes.
Your choice is stored locally for up to 180 days. Analytics cookies are configured for up to 180 days. Use Privacy choices in the footer to turn analytics on or off at any time. Turning it off disables collection for the site and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not automatically remove previously processed data from Google.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We also count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, in every region. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It sees the page, the site that sent you, your country, your browser and device type, and how long the page took to load; it does not identify you. It is separate from the Google Analytics choice: turning Google Analytics off does not stop it. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Hosting and contact
Cloudflare hosts this site and may process technical request data, including IP addresses, for delivery and security. Sending an email to the operator shares the information in your message with the operator and the email providers handling it. Please send only what is needed to answer your enquiry.
The operator is CHEN. Contact ad@random-walk.co.jp for privacy questions or a request concerning your correspondence. Analytics is not linked to a user account on this site, which can limit our ability to identify a particular visit.
Advertising and external links
AdSense verification information may be published during the application process, but advertising is currently disabled and the site does not load an advertising tag. If ads are introduced, this notice and the consent setup will be updated first.
External links take you to other organisations’ sites, whose own notices apply. See Google’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about those providers.

We will update this page when the site’s data handling changes. The publication date above identifies the current notice.
